1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Drain Log ("the App", "our Service", or "we"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

2. Strict Medical Disclaimer & Physician Primacy

DRAIN LOG IS A PERSONAL LOGGING, INTERVAL REMINDER, AND CLINICAL REPORT GENERATION UTILITY ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, CLINICAL DIAGNOSES, OR TREATMENT ORDERS.

You must always strictly follow the exact post-operative care, drain maintenance, and removal criteria instructions provided directly by your surgeon, physician, or licensed surgical care team. Drain Log does not evaluate clinical healing or surgical site readiness. Any drain removal threshold goals displayed in the application are user-customizable presets based on standard clinical literature (< 30 mL/day) and must be confirmed with your surgeon's specific orders.

Never remove or manipulate surgical drains yourself without explicit instructions from your surgeon. If you observe signs of infection (fever, foul-smelling or cloudy purulent fluid, sudden active bleeding, or acute pain), contact your surgical office or emergency services immediately.

3. User Data Sovereignty & No Cloud Storage Buckets

All user logs and recovery records remain exclusively on the user's local hardware. Drain Log does not operate remote cloud storage servers for your medical records. You retain 100% ownership of your data and can delete all local records instantly through the in-app settings.

4. AI Development & Transparency Policy

AI-assisted software engineering tools were utilized during software development to build and test the application codebase. The App itself performs deterministic arithmetic and logic—it does NOT employ autonomous generative AI models to diagnose symptoms or interpret medical conditions.

5. Authenticity & Zero Fake Testimonials

We are committed to medical integrity. All marketing materials on drainlog.net reflect actual app capabilities. We prohibit and reject fabricated testimonials, fake reviews, or deceptive endorsements.

6. In-App Purchases & Lifetime Licenses

Purchases of Drain Log Pro (Lifetime unlock) are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests and billing inquiries are governed by Apple and Google app store policies respectively.

7. Total Release & Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DRAIN LOG, ITS DEVELOPERS, CREATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:

Surgical drain tracking, measurement recording, fluid interpretation, or timing of drain removal.
Any reliance on notifications, alarms, reminders, charts, or reports generated by the App.

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL HEALTHCARE DECISIONS ARE MADE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR LICENSED SURGICAL CARE TEAM.
